Contracting a service provider to carry out a detailed food systems assessment in Syria.

Dear Sir/Madam, Welthungerhilfe was established in 1962. It is today one of the largest private organizations working in the area of development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. Non-profit-seeking, non-partisan and non-denominational. Donations from the population at large fund our work in Africa, Asia and Latin America. In addition, Welthungerhilfe receives grants from the Federal German Government, the European Union, OFDA, the United Nations and many others worldwide recognized donors. We are currently seeking to contract a qualified service provider to carry out a comprehensive Food Systems Assessment under the Community-driven Opportunities for Resilience and Empowerment in Syria “CORE” project, funded by BMZ TDA. This project represents a strategic transition from humanitarian assistance towards a development-oriented approach in Syria, aiming to strengthen sustainable food systems and enhance community resilience.
