Electrical Engineering Works of HVDC Converter System 320 kV Operating in Multi Terminal Configuration
description Description
Electrical engineering studies for the HVDC Voltage Sourced Converter (VSC) Converter System in symmetrical monopole configuration operating at nominal DC voltage of 320 kV composed of 2 (two) onshore converter stations with capacity of 1.2 GW (each connected to 400 kV AC substation) and initially of 1 (one) and finally 2 (two) offshore substations each composed of offshore converter platform and offshore converter station with capacity of 1.2 GW including the AC switch gear connected to the grid of an offshore wind farm. The scope is the assessment of electrical performances expected for such configuration, including availability and reliability, maintainability, steady-state, dynamic and transient performances and operational performances
