Marine Surveillance Services (Guard vessel) for high-voltage submarine cable(s)

RTE in the launching the present Contract notice (24497) in anticipation of the further Invitation To Tender (ITT) to be launched for the supply of Maritime Surveillance Services (Guard Vessel) of high-voltage (HV) submarine cable(s).
The main objectives of the Maritime surveillance services are (but not limited to):
- Physical protection: Preventing any activity that could damage the cable (trawling, anchoring, dredging, setting fishing gear).
- Active maritime surveillance: Continuous radar and visual monitoring of traffic in the area, identification and tracking of vessels.
- Deterrence: Visible presence and proactive communication to divert vessels away from risk areas.
- Alert: Immediate reporting of any threats or incidents to the Client/OM and the relevant authorities.
- Documentation: Comprehensive recording of events (logs, CCTV, photos) for traceability and analysis.
- Coordination: Interface with maritime authorities (CROSS, Coastguard) and other project stakeholders.
- Assistance: Logistical support to work vessels if required (transfers, escort).
Applicable Technical Specification shall be provided at ITT stage.
